ND2NO Licensing Business Model
A ND2NO license enables you, the licensee, to operate a ND2NO VERTICAL business. You pay a licensing fee and you receive a technology system developed by ND2NO NETWORK, LLC. You will have the right to use the licensor name and technology in a private label setting, for a specific number of years and assistance. For example, ND2NO NETWORK, LLC will provide you with help in finding a vertical space for your portal; initial training, supporting documentation; and advice on management, marketing or personnel. ND2NO will provide support through periodic updates, state of the art technology and scheduled workshops or seminars. Owning a ND2NO license comes with defined costs, licensor controls and contractual obligations. The costs associated In exchange for the right to use the licensor's technology and benefit from the licensor's assistance depends on your VERTICAL PORTAL CHOICE:
Initial Licensing Fee Your initial licensing fee can typically range from $1800 - $25,000 and will be non-refundable. You may finance this expenditure in house with ND2NO for a 12 month period. You may also face costs to rent, build, and equip office space and marketing and advertising platforms.
Continuing Royalty Payments You will have to pay the licensor royalties based on a percentage of your weekly or monthly gross income.
Advertising Fees You will be responsible for all of your own advertising expenditures branding your private label ND2NO business.
Licensor Controls To ensure uniformity ND2NO NETWORK, LLC will control: Vertical Portal Approval. ND2NO NETWORK will retain the right to approve vertical portals for their licensee, and may not approve a vertical you select.
Design or Appearance Standards ND2NO will impose design and appearance standards to ensure a uniform look among the verticals. ND2NOv2 will require periodic renovations or design changes; complying with these requirements may increase your costs.
Restrictions on Goods and Services ND2NO may restrict the technology goods and services you sell. For example, if you own a retail vertical license, you may not be able to make any changes to your main directory menu. If you own a city vertical license, you may not be able to sell beyond the city’s boundaries. Exceptions will have to be approved in writing.
Restrictions on Method of Operation ND2NOwill require that you operate in a particular way. ND2NO will require; look and feel of online presence, menu options, technology capacity, pre-approval of marketing strategy and implementation (including social media posts) signs, and certain accounting or bookkeeping procedures.
Restrictions on Sales Area A ND2NO license will limit your business to a specific online demographic or industry.
Contractual Obligations & Licensing contracts last only for the number of years stated in the contract. You can lose the right to your licensing from non compliance with the contract and you won’t have a right to renew unless the licensor gives you that right.
Terminations ND2NO NETWORK, LLC can end your licensing agreement for a variety of reasons, including your failure to pay royalties or abide by performance standards and sales restrictions. ND2NO NETWORK, LLC will give you a chance to “cure” an occasional failure to comply (like making one late payment) but keep the right to terminate your licensing for other failures. If your licensing is terminated, you’re likely to lose your entire investment.
